Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable efficient reduction of a data amount with a measured shape retained, by recognizing a plane area from three-dimensional coordinate values and by making a plurality of point data in each plane area representative as one face. CONSTITUTION:A slit scattered light from an object 104 of measurement being rotated is picked up 106 and an image signal thereof is stored 108. A slit scattered light central position detecting means 109 determines the central position of luminance of the slit scattered light from the image signal and reckons it as an image of a measuring point. A coordinate computing means 110 computes three-dimensional coordinate values of the measuring point and acquires three- dimensional shape data at each rotational angle and thereby the three- dimensional shape data on the whole of the object 104 are acquired. A data compressing means 111 recognizes a plane area from the three-dimensional coordinate values and makes a plurality of point data in each plane area representative as one face, thereby compressing shape information. A data format conversion means 112 makes the compressed shape data be point series data or the like and converts them into a data format 114 for a threedimensional CAD system 115.
