Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure inserting performance of a treating tool and an layout space of the contents by arranging a connection port of a first piping tool with a large-diameter side treating tool insertion channel on the side closer than a connection port of a second piping tool with a small-diameter side treating tool insertion channel pertaining to the longitudinal side of an endoscope where a treating tool insertion port is formed.
CONSTITUTION: A curvature R1 of a piping tool 38 on the large diameter side is set smaller than the curvature R2 of a piping tool 52 on the small diameter side and it is so arranged that the axis core O1 of a pipeline 39 of the piping tool 38 is positioned above the axis core O2 of a pipeline 53 of a piping tool 52, or that the piping tool 38 is positioned closer to the side of a forceps port than to the piping tool 52. The curvatures R1 and R2 are so set that the piping tools 38 and 52 will not interfere with a number of components such as an image guide 64, a light guide cable 66, an erection wire 68 and a feed air/water tube 70 arranged below the piping tools 38 and 52.
