Title:
STEAM TURBINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03185201
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce erosion damage, which occurs on a moving blade, by installing a drain recovery groove on an inner peripheral surface of a nozzle diaphragm outer ring, so that the drain, which is sticking to the inner peripheral surface, can be collected. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle diaphragm of a steam turbine is provided with nozzle diaphragm outer rings 62, 62a, nozzle diaphragm inner rings 63, 63a, and stator blades 61, 61a, which are radially arranged in such a way that the blades 61, 61a are sandwiched in between both outer and inner rings. In addition, a plurality of moving blades 51, 52 are arranged, which are radially provided to a turbine rotor 50, alternately with these stator blades 61, 61a. In this case, a plurality of recovery grooves 67, which extend from the upstream side to the downstream side of a steam flow, are provided to an inner peripheral surface 64 of the nozzle diaphragm outer ring 62, which constitutes the final stage of the steam turbine, in a range between the upstream end 65 of the surface 64 and the upstream end 66 of the stator blade 61. In addition, a drain discharge hole 68, which penetrates the nozzle diaphragm outer ring 62, is provided at the downstream end of the drain recovery groove 67.
