Abstract:

PURPOSE:To inspect a flow path in a molding in a shorter time more accurately and more easily. CONSTITUTION:While one end of a flow path 2 to be inspected of a cylinder head 1 is communicated with an atmosphere, a vacuum pump 6 is connected to a suction pipe 6 connected to the other end of the flow path 2 to be inspected, and further a solenoid valve 8 is connected to the suction pipe 6 via a split pipe 6a. Then after the vacuum pump 7 is actuated, the solenoid valve 8 is closed, and after a predetermined time a negative pressure caused on the suction pipe 6 is measured by a pressure measuring device 9. The measured value is compared with a set value by a controller 10, and the results are displayed on a display 11.
