Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting a deformation capability under the press of a cylindrical body being used as the flexible part of a flexible tube.
SOLUTION: An inspecting device 10 has a casing 14 that can accommodate a cylindrical body 12 and water 70 for applying pressure to the cylindrical body, and a movable member 16 being retained in the casing so that it can be linearly moved. The cylindrical body 12 is arranged in the movement direction of a movable member 16 or a direction that is at right angle to the movement direction, and is watertightly fixed at both end parts. The inspecting device, furthermore, includes means 18 and 19 for driving the movable member to deform the cylindrical body, means 20 and 21 for measuring force being required for the deformation of the cylindrical body, and a means 22 for detecting the degree of the deformation of the cylindrical body.
