To provide an inspecting method for a medicine which does not cause reduction in a portion-packaging speed.
A capsule-like transponder is housed in one of tablet feeders of a tablet portion-packaging device 4. One transponder is discharged and portion-packaged to give the portion-packaged bag in which only the transponder is portion-packaged at the front end of the bags before a tablet is discharged. The portion-packaging information can be attached to the portion-packaged medicine in a short time by sending a sending signal from an antenna arranged in a transferring passage of a portion-packaging sheet to the portion-packaged transponder and making the packed transponder memorize portion-packaging information, by this the reduction of portion-packaging speed can be prevented. On the other hand, the inspection of the medicine is conducted by sending a sending signal requiring signal from a reader 40, reading-out the portion-packaging information from the transponder, and verifying the portion-packaged medicine based on the read-out portion-packaging information.
