To obtain a mandrel rotating transferring device which gives a high plastering pressure even at a large tracking angle and showing a high mandrel rigidity.
A support plate 23 supporting a mandrel device 15 is radially displaceably mounted at the radial end of a rotor 22, and a cam follower 28 is mounted at both ends in the longitudinal direction. The cam follower 28 mates with a cam groove 31 formed in a pair of cam plates 30 fixed to both the frames 20 to support both the sides of the support plate 23. When the rotor 22 rotates according to the rotation of the working spindle 21, the support plate 23 rotates responding to the shape of the cam groove 31 while displacing in the radial direction of the rotor 22. Since the support plate 23 can not only move circularly but also move reciprocally in an arbitrary profile-closed loop and both ends of the support plate 23 are supported, the mandrel device 15 obtains high rigidity.
