PURPOSE: To inspect the program of a device to be inspected without using the hardware of the device to be inspected by simulating the processing of input information performed by the device to be inspected with a processing means.
CONSTITUTION: When a system is started, the RAM of the device to be inspected and the area of each variable where an address 2 is set on a common RAM are secured on an MS-DOS by the simulation software of the software 3 of a processing part, and the address of each variable is set. On a display 4, each input port of the device to be inspected, the state of each input port, and the image of a keyboard are displayed. Information for test which simulates the input information of the device to be inspected is inputted with the image and a mouse 1. Inputted information for test is processed according to the target software of the software 3, and a processing result is displayed on the display 4 of an output part by the simulation software.
