Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the inspection technique of the cut-surface shape of a work tip that can determine not only a horizontal surface but also a surface that is inclined obliquely as a conforming article, if the sectional surface of the work tip is smooth, and can determine a surface as a non-conforming article, if the sectional surface of the work tip is not smooth, non-conforming sections such as projections and recesses are formed, and a curved surface is gentle. SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus comprises a work edge position detection means 11 for detecting n-point edge positions P1(X1,Y)-Pn(Xn,Yn) on the tip sectional surface of a work (w), a storage region for storing criterion distance Sd and the number of edge detection SL, a determination straight line creation means 12 for creating determination straight lines fK(QK,QK+SL)(k=1,2,..., n-SL) for connecting two points (QK,QK+SL), that are separated each other with the number of edge detection SL among Q1(X1+Sd,Y1) to Qn(Xn+Sd,Yn).
