Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the high accurate detection of the rotational position of a lid member by measuring the position of the mark part of a lid member on the basis of image information and deciding by comparing the measured value with a predetermined reference value.
CONSTITUTION: A solid state camera device (CCD camera 61) picks up the image of the side of a photographic film cartridge 10 illuminated by a lighting device 60. An image processing device 62 measures the mark part of a lid member, for instance, the position of the shaft 24 of the lid member by adopting the photographic film cartridge 10 as a reference on the basis of the image information from the CCD camera 61 to determine the rotational position of the lid member by comparing the measured value with a predetermined reference value. For that reason, the rotational position of the lid member can be determined without being contacted and at the same time since the measurement is performed by adopting the photographic film cartridge 10 as a reference, it is unnecessary to take the dispersion and the like of the accuracy of a conveyor for conveyance into consideration.
