This inspection device 12 is equipped with a conveyance mechanism 15 for conveying the work W, an inspection field 17, a data processing device 18 using a personal computer or the like, a display device 19 or the like. A group name is provided to each work having completely common processed spots to be inspected among the different kinds of works W. When the group name of a work W1 positioned on the front side in the conveyance direction is different from the group name of a work W2 positioned on the rear side, the data processing device 18 determines whether a specific processed spot which is processed in the front-side group and is not processed in the rear-side group exists or not, and sends the front-side work W1 to the inspection field 17 if the specific processed spot exists. A display part 19 displays the specific processed spot from among a plurality of processed spots of the work W1, and information P1 on inspection items or the like together with the image P2 of the work.
