Abstract:
To provide an inspection device capable of being easily installed when inspecting steps of a passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: An inspection device includes an imaging device capable of imaging an image of a step used for inspection of a passenger conveyor, which includes steps provided with demarcations in respective boundaries between treads. The inspection device includes a calculation unit for calculating a brightness value indicating the degree of brightness of each of a plurality of images obtained by sequentially photographing one step in inspection operation of the passenger conveyor, a determination unit for determining whether or not the inspection device is installed at a predetermined position based on the fluctuation quantity of the brightness value calculated by the calculation unit, and an output unit for outputting a result determined by the determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
