PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose a slide type support metal which is advantageous for its strength as a plate-shaped body like an auxiliary top plate of a large oscillation radius in which an attitude can be changed into a developed attitude or a folded attitude by operation on the oscillation end side, and more easily change the attitude of the plate-shaped body.
SOLUTION: In this plate-shaped support device composed to make relative oscillation about an oscillation support point P1 almost in a horizontal direction to change an installation angle to an installation side member 1 between a developed attitude and a stored attitude, part of an extended support body 7 in a support metal supporting a plate body 2 is moved forward and back around the oscillation support point P1 to oscillate to change the attitude of the plate body 2, and an attitude changing operation part 5 of the extended support body 7 is composed to oscillate with the plate body 2. Attitude changing operation can thus be performed at a close position to an oscillation end of the plate body 2, and the extended support body 7 is position-held at a retraction position on the closer side to the installation side member 1 than the oscillation support point P1, so position-holding is released as changing operation is performed from the stored attitude of the plate body 2 into the developed attitude, where the extended support body 7 is energized to the side to get apart from the installation member 1.
