Abstract:
To provide an installation method which allows an automatically collimating total station to be installed in a stable state, which acquires high measurement accuracy, which does not have high place work and which eliminates collimation adjustment after installation.SOLUTION: In a method of mounting an automatically collimating total station 13 which is installed when constructing a building using iron columns, a bracket metal 3 is mounted on an upper end surface 2 of an iron column, a quadrangular prism-shaped trestle for the total station 13 is mounted by holding the bracket metal 3, the total station 13 is mounted on an apex of the trestle via a fixed core rod 12, and protection covers 10, 11 for the total station 13 are mounted on side surfaces of the trestle via arms 8, 9 so as to open/close by remote control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
