Abstract:
To provide a method for installing a low-cost, highly water-proof and highly adiabatic underground shelter, and the underground shelter.SOLUTION: A method for installing an underground shelter 100a, 100b forms an integral expanded polyurethane foam layer 40 which covers an entire shelter body 30. An expanded polyurethane foam contains independent bubbles, and thus lacks permeability, and moisture in the ground never reaches the shelter body 30 through the expanded polyurethane foam layer 40. Thus, rusting of the shelter body 30 and accompanying degradation can be prevented. Further, the expanded polyurethane foam layer 40 exhibits high adiabaticity, and mitigates a temperature change from the outside to be able to improve heat insulation in the shelter body 30. The occurrence of dew condensation in the shelter body 30 can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
