Abstract:
To provide an instrument for an automobile, having analog/digital speed visibility by effectively utilizing travel distance display means for digital- displaying a travel distance for giving analogous speed instructions using a dial plate and a pointer on speed instructing means as well as digital-displaying a speed using travel distance display means.
Controlled by a microcomputer in accordance with a change-over operation of a change-over switch mechanism 60, a liquid crystal panel 50 for a travel distance odometer D digital-displays a gross travel distance or a sectional travel distance and changes over the display into digital display of a car speed.
