To provide a travel distance odometer for an automobile capable of displaying a fuel consumption for the automobile, as necessary.
The travel distance odometer D as a car instrument digital- displays a cumulative travel distance for a car on a liquid crystal panel 50 and digital-displays an average fuel consumption instead of the cumulative travel distance in supplying fuel into a fuel tank for the car.
