Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6171064
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
An apparatus for the separation of blood components comprises a blood plasma container connected to one end of a transfer tube for blood plasma, a cryoprecipitate-deficient blood plasma container connected or adapted to be connected in a state capable of communication to the blood plasma container through a tube for transferring a cryoprecipitate-deficient blood plasma separated in the blood plasma container, and a container having connecting means and holding therein a cryoprecipitate dissolving agent and connected or adapted to be connected in a state capable of communication to the blood plasma container by the connecting means. By this apparatus, cryoprecipitate containing factor VIII in a very high concentration and deprived of fibrinogen, a substance contained in a large amount in cryoprecipitate and constituting a cause for secondary reactions during volume transfer of factor VIII is separated efficiently from blood plasma with ease.
