Abstract:
To suppress the adhesion of fuel to an intake valve.SOLUTION: An intake device of an internal combustion engine comprises: a valve opening/closing mechanism for moving an intake port; an injector arranged in a position in which fuel injected into a combustion chamber does not interfere with the intake valve when a valve lift amount being a moving amount of the intake valve is smaller than a prescribed threshold (valve lift amount VL10), and a part of the fuel injected into the combustion chamber interferes with the intake valve when the valve lift amount is equal to the threshold (valve lift amount VL10 ) or larger; an air injection part for injecting compressed air to the intake valve; and an air injection control part for injecting air to the air injection part in at least a part of a period out of a period in which the valve lift amount is equal to the threshold (valve lift amount VL10) or larger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
