Intake valves (2 and 3) are respectively provided with swirl blades (2a and 3a) to guide an intake flow, extending in an axial direction from stem parts (2b and 3b) to valve head parts (2c and 3c), to generate swirls currents. The swirl blades (2a and 3a) are formed into shapes according to which swirls different in behavior are respectively generated in the cylinder C by each of the plurality of the intake valves (2 and 3) of each cylinder.
