Abstract:

To provide a novel integrin subunit α11 and an integrin heterodimer.

A polynucleotide sequence encoding a recombinant or isolated integrin subunit α11 comprising a specific amino acid sequence is isolated, an expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide is prepared, and a host cell is transformed through gene recombination technology. Furthermore, a recombinant or isolated integrin heterodimer comprising the subunit α11 and a subunit β1 is disclosed.
