To provide an infant protecting device having a treatment light source for slowly turning the light intensity up.
In the infant protecting device for supporting an infant on a bed, a light beam is induced to the sleeping infant on the bed. An electric circuit is worked by an user putting the treatment light source on, and the electric circuit is controlled to protect the infant from prompt enough intensity of the treatment light source, and the intensity of the treatment light source is started at low level, and then the light intensity irradiated from the treatment light through the period is turned up to the desired intensity. By gradually rising the intensity, the infant is not surprised as in the case that the light beam with high intensity is steeply started.
