Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up processing speed while a comparatively simple constitution is adopted.
SOLUTION: When data of a frame from a network is inputted, plural pieces of data which are previously stored are simultaneously compared with data of the frame given from the network by using associative storage memories 32-1 to 32-n. When the results of comparison in the associative storage memories 32-1 to 32-n match, an addresses on the other associative memory in the memories 32-1 to 32-n or the network, which is to be retrieved next, is obtained. The address is set instead of the address of the previous frame and it is transmitted to the corresponding network.
