To solve problems on cost-up of an air conditioner, increase in a body size of the air conditioner, and generation of noise and increase of heat generation caused by increase of a power supply capacity, due to increase of the number of connected peripherals, and increase of the power supply capacity of the air conditioner in connecting the peripheral of large load current, as the power supply of the air conditioner must supply the maximum current of load current flowing to the peripheral in addition to the load current supplied to the inside of the air conditioner to operate the peripherals for receiving power supply from the power supply of the air conditioner.
An interface device operated by electric power supplied from an air conditioner includes a plurality of connection circuits for connecting peripherals, and a microcomputer for controlling operations of the connection circuits, and the microcomputer executes exclusive control to lower a maximum value of electric current supplied by a power supply circuit, by delaying the timing of increasing load current of the connection circuits by controlling operational timing of the peripherals.
