Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to enhance coverage and/or throughput in a heterogeneous wireless network.SOLUTION: A method includes detecting (1102) interference between a neighboring cell and a serving cell. The method also includes cancelling (1103) the interference by using an adaptive technique on the basis of whether the interference has the colliding Common Reference Signal (CRS) tones or whether the interference has the colliding Dedicated Reference Signal (DRS) tones.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
