Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight interlaced woven fabric having high air permeability and preventing the slippage of the yarns, and further to obtain the Western style outdoor clothing using the same.
CONSTITUTION: The interlaced woven fabric has a warp density of 55-115 warps/ inch, a weft density of 25-65 wefts/inch, a METSUKE of 60-170-g/m2, an airflow quantity of ≥100cc/cm2/see, a thickness of 0.2-0.8mm and an opening degree of 6-50%, and contains at least one kind of yarns selected from the following yarn group as an essential constituting component. (1) Spun yarns or spunlike yarns, (2) long and short composite yarns comprising short fibers and filaments, (3) filament yarns having large and small cross sections in the longitudinal direction of the yarns, (4) filament yarns having modified cross sections or containing the modified cross sections, (5) composite yarns composed of two or more kinds of filaments different in the shrinkage degrees, and (6) bulky processed yarns produced by a false-twisting method or an air-interlacing processing method.
