Title:
INTERMEDIATE FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3333013
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the resinous intermediate film excellent in sound insulating property and which obviates the need for addition of a plasticizer by using the amorphous resin having a specified glass transition point temp. and a melt starting temp. and consisting of polyester oligomer and multivalent isocyanate as a main starting material.
CONSTITUTION: The main starting material of the intermediate film for a laminated glass is the amorphous resin consisting of polyester oligomer and multivalent isocyanate. The amorphous resin has -20 to +40°C glass transition point temp. and ≤100°C melt starting temp.. The amorphous polyester resin has high sound insulating property, and the urethane group generated by the reaction of the polyester oligomer and the multivalent isocyanate acts as a weak restrictive component, and the intermediate film strong and low in stiky is obtained different from an amorphous polyester element even if glass transition point temp. is low than ordinary temp.. The introduction of the urethane group is effective for improvement of clarity and impact resistance of the intermediate film.
