Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate product roll resolving defects of prior art and lessening wrinkle, flaw and whitening.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method for an intermediate product roll of a film having a base material layer, and a coat layer on at least one surface of the base material layer. The method includes a process of laminating the coat layers parallel in a longitudinal direction, a process of cutting and removing both side end parts in a film width direction, and a process of taking up the film in this order. The process of cutting and removing both side end parts has cutting means reciprocating between the ends of the base material layer and the coat layer in a width direction parallel to that direction. The method is characterized by satisfying ΔY/ΔX<1.0 when defining the distance between a position closest to the end part of the base material layer in the width direction in the driving range of the cutting means and the end part of the coat layer in the width direction as ΔX, and the driving range of the cutting means as ΔY.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
