To provide a fluorocarbon elastomer intermediate transfer member of a single layer used in an electrostatic photographic printer.
An intermediate transfer member 7 for receiving images from one or a plurality of image forming members 2a-2d and transferring a multiple image or multicolor image to a base 14 contains a fluorocarbon elastomer of single layer having no base, and the layer of the fluorocarbon elastomer is adaptable to the image receiving base 14. The single layer fluorocarbon elastomer has the strength, semiconductivity, and adaptability with the image receiving base necessary for the intermediate transfer member 7. The intermediate transfer member 7 of single layer can attain substantially 100% toner transfer ratio to the image receiving base 14 in the process for generating images by use of a plurality of image forming stations 1a-1d.
