Abstract:
To provide an intermittent coating device capable of making the start end and the terminal end of the coating cliff-shaped by means of a suck-back device.SOLUTION: The intermittent coating device performs feedback control comprising: moving, at a terminal position of a coating portion 44 of the web W, a piston 314 of a suck-back device 300 in a direction of separating from an outlet 304 to suck a coating liquid in a die 14; moving, at a start position of the coating portion 44, the piston 314 in a direction of approaching the outlet 304 to push the coating liquid into the die 14 out from the outlet 304; and, when sucking the coating liquid from the die 14, changing a moving speed of the piston 314 in two stages of a first suction rate and a second suction rate lower than the first suction rate, therein, slowing down the second suction rate until a liquid pressure value P measured by a liquid pressure sensor 48 becomes lower than a maximum liquid pressure value P0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
