Abstract:
To provide a lip coater type coating device capable of eliminating waste of coating slip in a web joint processing; and to provide a coating method therefor.SOLUTION: When a web W joint part 66 passes over a nozzle head 14, coating slip is sucked by a suck-back device 70 so that the coating slip is not overflowed from a second liquid reservoir 32, and a nozzle head 14 is lowered by a vertical movement cylinder 44, and after the joint part 66 passes over the nozzle head 14, the nozzle head 14 is raised by the vertical movement cylinder 44, and the coating slip sucked by the suck-back device 70 is pushed out into the nozzle head 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
