Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a combustion state to be improved and both a fuel consumption and an exhausting function of an internal combustion engine to be improved by changing a fuel injecting direction in response to an operating state of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an internal combustion engine fuel injection system 30 comprising an intake pipe 23 connected between a cylinder head 13 of an engine 10 and a throttle body to form an intake passage 27; and a fuel injection device 26 fixed to this intake pipe and having an injection port 28 for injecting fuel arranged at the intake passage 27. The intake pipe 23 includes a movable part 31 that can be moved in respect to the cylinder head. The fuel injection device 26 is fixed to the movable part 31 and constituted in such a way that a direction of an injection axis line P where the fuel A is injected from the injection port is changed as the movable part 31 is moved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
