Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine in which power generation, fuel efficiency, occurrence of contamination and control of contaminants are favorably balanced by combining thermodynamic process more practically.
The amount of fuel of the internal combustion engine and an injection timing of a direct injection system are controlled so as to generate a combustion process comprising a constant volume (isochoric) stage and a constant temperature (isothermal) stage.
