Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the transmission of the rotary oscillation from a crankshaft to an intermediate shaft by mounting a driving device of the intermediate shaft near a flywheel.
CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine having two rows of cylinders with a V-angle of 180° comprises a crankshaft 1 comprising a flywheel 5. This crankshaft 1 comprises a driving device 6 for an intermediate shaft 7 in parallel therewith on a position adjacent to the flywheel 5. The cam-shafts 10, 13 of the rows of cylinders are respectively driven from both ends of this intermediate shaft 7.
