Abstract:
An internal combustion engine includes an engine body, a transmission case, a cover, and an auxiliary device. The transmission case is coupled to the engine body and accommodates a transmission. The cover covers the engine body so that each of the lower surface, the rear surface, and the side surfaces of the engine is covered by the cover or the transmission case. The auxiliary device is attached to and drivingly coupled to the engine body. The auxiliary device has an opposite surface located on a side opposite to the engine body, and the opposite surface of the auxiliary device does not face the cover.
