Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve internal diameter measuring accuracy by improving detection accuracy of a back pressure of air blown to a processing hole internal surface similarly to a rough machining stage in the initial processing of narrow space, even in a finish machining state in the latter machining period of wide space between the machining hole internal surface and an air nozzle.
SOLUTION: Toward an internal peripheral surface of a machining hole H of a workpiece W, air is blown from a small diametric air nozzle 21A or large diametric air nozzle 21B provided in the periphery of a honing head 1, an internal diameter of the machining hole H is measured. At rough machining time in the initial machining stage with a narrow space between the internal peripheral surface of the machining hole H and the air nozzle, the small diametric air nozzle 21A is used, at finish machining time in the latter machining period broadening the space, the large diametric air nozzle 21B is used.
