Abstract:

To provide a face plate which consists of a thin material and has a high repulsion coefficient.

The golf club (40) has an internal hosel (54) arranged toward an inner side from an impact plate (72) in such a manner that the impact plate (72) has extensibility during impact with a golf ball. A method for manufacturing the golf club (40) mounted with the internal hosel (54) at a side extension part (74) of a face segment (60) is included as well. The side extension part (74) is connected to the impact plate (72). The impact plate (72) preferably consists of a forged titanium material.
