Abstract:
PURPOSE: To store various types of articles in a storage box by changing the gripper interval of a single gripping body easily and performing the gripping of the various types of articles uniformly.
CONSTITUTION: On a plurality of grippers 13 for a gripping body 5, a longitudinal movable member and transverse movable member 22, which relatively change the attaching intervals of respective grippers 13, are attached, and a longitudinal operating means 33 and transverse operating means 34, which are connected to the longitudinal and transverse movable members 22 and drive them, are linked. Therefore, the workability is greatly improved, and the stocking of various types of gripping bodies accompanying with the change of the outer shape of an article, etc., is obviated, and a remarkable cost reduction can be embodied. Also, since respective gripper intervals are automatically adjusted while the gripping body stands by on a gripping body cradle, even when the model change, etc., of the article processing occurs, the replacement of the gripping body can immediately be performed without a loss of time, and a large scale labor saving can be achieved for the overall production line.
