A receiving set 3, which is a component of the intra-patient introduction system, comprises a receiving unit 6 and a position detection unit 7 which are configured separately. The receiving unit 6 has receiving antennas 8a-8d and a receiving prosessing device apparatus 9, and the position detection unit 7 has transmitting antennas 10a-10d, a first linear magnetic field generating section 11a, a second linear magnetic field generating section 11b, a diffusing magnetic field generating section 12 and a processing device 13. When using the intra-patient introduction system in order to acquire intra-patient information obtained by a capsule endoscope 2 and to detect the position of the capsule endoscope 2, both the receiving unit 6 and the position detection unit 7 are used. For acquiring only the intra-patient information, only the receiving unit 6 is used.
