An inversion and stacking device 1 is provided with an inversion overlapping mechanism 4 between a supply conveyor 5 for conveying articles sequentially and a discharge conveyor 6 for discharging articles in a condition in which they are accumulated in layers. Articles are stored in each pocket from the supply conveyor 5, are circulated, and are inverted to push out the plurality of articles by discharge pushers in a condition in which they are stacked.
