To provide an ion brush, capable of setting an ion squirt hole large, having good efficiency of squirting, proper shape of appearance and convenient for use.
The direction X of an electrode axis of an ion generator 4 is set oblique to the plane formed by the ion squirt hole 3b of a base 3a planted with brush bristles 3c, and an air intake port 4c and the ion squirt hole 3b are disposed on the same axis as the axial direction X, whereby the distance from the electrode to the ion squirt hole 3b is made long, and the ion squirt hole 3b where ion currents spread conically reach is made large. The ion squirt hole 3b is provided with plate-like gratings 5 mounted at an angle not to obstruct the ion currents, some gratings 5b are bent to guide the ion currents to the squirt hole 3b and the ion current arrival side is made knife-edge not to obstruct the ion currents.
