Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ion rich water making device capable of performing the electrolytic treatment of water while effectively removing scale such as calcium carbonate or the like and capable of extending the life of an electrode plate to an order of several years.
CONSTITUTION: The inverse current washing of an electrolytic cell 36 is performed at midnight every day and/or at the time of the first passage of water next morning in order to prevent the accumulation of scale on the electrode plates 98, 100, 102 of the electrolytic cell 36. During the use of the electrolytic cell, an electrolytic time in an alkaline water supply mode and an electrolytic time in an acidic water supply mode are integrated while set off in such a state that 30sec is set to a limit. At the time of inverse current washing, voltage of polarity opposite to that of voltage in a mode used for a longer time is applied.
