PURPOSE: To improve safety, even when water enters an electrical connection section between a stand and an ironing body, regarding an ironing device having a body heater supplied with power for removing the wrinkles of clothes or the like via placement on a stand.
CONSTITUTION: Feeder terminals 22 are projected within a feeder recess section 43 formed on the rear side of an ironing body 10, and a water flow groove 44 is formed downward on the wall of the recess section 43 laid between the terminals 22 for the fixing thereof. According to this construction, water can be quickly removed from the area of the terminals 22 via the groove 44 formed between the terminals 22, even if water enters an electrical connection section between a stand and the ironing body 10. Thus, the ironing body 10 is not kept in contact with the stand, due to water stagnation between the terminals 22, thereby eliminating the danger of leakage and electrical shock.
