To provide genes functioning in the development and differentiation of a mammalian immune system and/or the control of physiological function.
The nucleic acid encoding various monocyte proteins derived from primates, reagents related to the same (including specific antibodies) and purified proteins are described. The method for using the reagents and a related diagnostic kit are also provided. The disclosure aims at a composition associated with the genes found in the monocyte which is a cell functioning in an immune system. These genes function in the development and differentiation of the mammalian immune system, and/or the control of the physiological functions. In the disclosure, especially the nucleic acids, proteins, antibodies and methods for using them are provided.
