Abstract:

To perform ITS(Intelligent Transport System) simulation under the consideration of a GPS positioning error.

This ITS simulation system is provided with a position information simulator which simulates position information to be acquired by a GPS device at a vehicle position searched by a traffic flow simulator, and configured to simulate the operation of an ITS application by inputting the position information including the error. The position information to be acquired by the GPS device is searched by adding GPS positioning errors to the position of the vehicle. The GPS positioning errors, considered are a random error, an error based on a measured value, an error under the consideration of the situations of a peripheral building, or an error under the consideration of the number of GPS satellites which can be captured.
