Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a jib easily and rapidly to the top end of a boom and also store it easily and rapidly to the side of the boom without impairing a lifting capacity and the stability of a vehicle body.
SOLUTION: A jib extending and storing mechanism is formed so that, with one end of a jib 60 and one end of a tension rod 70 supported on the first supporting part 33a and second supporting part 75 (82) of a boom head 25, respectively, the jib 60 and tension rod 70 are rotated about the first and second supporting parts 33a and 82 by telescoping the telescoping rod 99a of a cylinder device 99, and the jib 60 is moved between the storing position along the one side of the boom 18 and the extended position forward of the boom 18 by reversing the boom head 25 by a reversing means.
