Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib tumble preventive device for a jib crane capable of preventing a jib from tumbling resulting from cutting of a derricking rope.
SOLUTION: The jib crane is structured so that the derricking rope 7 led out of a derricking drum 6 for the derricking of the jib 1 is wound round a sheave 4 and put on a tip equalizer 8 and a derricking equalizer 30 to generate adjustability for the derricking angle of the jib 1, and in the jib tumble preventive device of this jib crane, derricking ropes 7a and 7b led out of two derricking drums 6a and 6b arranged in line are wound on every other sheaves 4a-4j and every other sheaves 8a-8j on the side with the jib tip equalizer 8, and thereby the mechanism to adjust the derricking angle of the jib 1 is formed in two lines.
