Abstract:
A jaw assembly for a demolition tool is disclosed. The jaw assembly comprises a support portion centrally disposed on a second jaw. The support portion having a first contact surface and an aperture disposed thereon. A work plate mounted on the support portion and comprises a plate member in abutting contact with the support portion; at least one tooth member; and a boss extending in a direction opposite to the at least one tooth member. The boss being engaged to the aperture. A pair of seating portions disposed on the second jaw laterally on opposite sides of the support portion, each seating portion having a slot. A work module mounted in each seating portion and comprises a base; a tooth; and a mounting element extending in a direction opposite to the tooth and engaging the seating portion. The work module and work plate being replaceable when worn.
