Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily perform calibration for the joint angle of a robot with high accuracy for a short time.

CONSTITUTION: The device is made up of a plate 11 provided with a hole 15 in its flat surface, a robot 12 fixed to the plate 11, and of a tool jig 14 mounted to the mechanical interface of the robot 12. And the device is so constituted as to be provided with a controller section which registers the respective joint angles of the robot when the tool jig 14 is fitted in the hole 15 provided by the plate 11.
