Abstract:
To securely join an aluminum layer shielding radiant heat to joint boots.
The aluminum layer 26 is provided on an outer surface of the joint boots 10 by sputtering. A lower part of the aluminum layer 26 gets into the outer surface of the joint boots 10. Therefore, joint strength of the aluminum layer 26 to the joint boots 10 is ensured. The joint boots 10 may contain wax.
